Zipper Interactive is releasing SOCOM 4 in the coming weeks for the PlayStation 3. The private beta is going to be released on March 15 to only people who applied for the beta.  On March 22nd, PlayStation Plus members can access the beta. March 29th, people who brought Killzone 3 gets access to the beta. Lastly, April 5th, it’s available to download at the PlayStation Store for free. The beta will include 2 multiplayer maps: Port Authority, and Assault and Battery, and four multiplayer modes are Suppression, Last Defense, Uplink, and Bomb Squad. Ubisoft will be releasing its largest DLC for Assassin Creed Brotherhood. The DLC is titled The Da Vinci Disappearance. The DLC is going to be released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on March 8. The DLC will bring 8 new single player missions, where the Ezio investigates the disappearance of Leonardo Da Vinci. Also the DLC includes new multiplayer content such as new assassins, a new map, and two game modes are called Assassinate and Escort. Infinity Ward will be releasing a new patch for Modern Warfare 2. The patch will increase their security measures and “will also address a small geo exploit on the map Fuel, which players exploited in order to get inside a rock on the outskirts of the map” said by Robert Bowling, Creative Strategist for Modern Warfare 2. In recent weeks, Modern Warfare 2 has been littered with hackers across all platforms. Many players were getting upset about the state of the game. New leaked footage of Battlefield 3 gameplay from Game Developer Conference can now be seen. The video was posted on March 4th and video is from a camera so don’t expect a 1080 HD video.  Gameplay footage entails a single player mission. Here is the link to the leaked gameplay footage. BioWare released Dragon Age II Champion today. The sequel to the critically acclaimed Dragon Age: Origins. Dragon Age II Champion offers a whole new story as you play the character, Hawke, who would eventually become champion of Kirkwall. Dragon Age 2 adds Champions abilities, which the player can become a Warrior, Mage, and Rogue. Each champion has different abilities. Dragon Age 2 released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
