Dave Grohl rejoins Queens Of The Stone Age

In early October, Dave Grohl’s band, Foo Fighters, confirmed rumors of an indefinite hiatus.  Recently, Queens Of The Stone Age found themselves in need of a drummer. On November 6th, Josh Homme, QOTSA’s frontman, confirmed that Dave Grohl would be rejoining the band on their upcoming album (not that Dave needs the work).  Grohl also played on Songs For The Deaf back in 2002.  Homme and Grohl have been playing together in their own band, Them Crooked Vultures , alongside Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones since 2009. Though no release date has been announced, Josh has confirmed that the album would be released prior to their performance in the UK at Live Nation’s Download Festival in June.
