A lot of drama went down on the last few days of Bachelor in Paradise. However, things do change between Paradise and the time we make it to After The Final Rose.
Here’s the breakdown of the drama that happened, one couple at a time.
Kendall and Grocery Store Joe
After talking to Kendall about an engagement after Paradise, she completely shut down and freaked out. Joe’s fear that she wasn’t in the same place he was in came true after a conversation with her the next night.
After Kendall kept talking in circles with excuses of not knowing what “they wanted” Joe reminded her that he knew what he wanted, but she clearly didn’t. Joe left Paradise while Kendall sat in confusion on the beach.
After The Final Rose, Kendall revealed the moment she left Mexico she went to Chicago to talk to Joe. That’s where she told Joe she was in love with him. Back on the stage, the two revealed they were back together and that they’ll be taking their relationship day-by-day.
Astrid and Kevin
The next couple that temporarily bit the dust was one of the stronger ones. On the last day, Kevin told Astrid he was “literally having a mental breakdown.” He said that even though they seemed so much farther along than the other couples, every time he went into the Fantasy Suite it never turned out well. Astrid was obviously pissed because Kevin was doing the one thing she told him not to do, which was leaving her hanging.
After The Final Rose, Kevin revealed to Chris Harrison the words Fantasy Suite freaked him out, which led the to breakup with Astrid. He said he wanted to give it another try while Astrid was still skeptical on what would be different. After a mini therapy session with Chris, the two revealed their mutual love for each other and decided to give their relationship another shot.
Annaliese and Kamil
In their Fantasy Suite, Kamil told Annaliese she was the girl he could see himself with and that calmed her down since she’s been the one that has been ahead of the curve in their relationship.

On the beach, Kamil ended up not proposing to her (smart move buddy), but said he wanted to continue to grow outside of Paradise together (again, smart move). Annaliese, of course, agreed and he carried her happily off the beach.
After The Final Rose things took a dark turn. Annaliese revealed they were still happily together and working through their long-distance relationship. When Chris asked Kamil how things were going, he said that he didn’t think he was the right guy for her. The room filled with shocked looks and pure anger on Annaliese’s face. After her humiliated breakup, Annaliese walked off the stage while Kamil continued to yap on about losing the spark. Chris asked him why he didn’t break it off days before, Kamil said he wanted to do it in person.
Then, Annaliese came back revealing she tried to break up with him weeks before. Tia, being the voice of America, screams “yes, bitch yes” while Annaliese gave it to Kamil. Chris ended up making him leave so Annaliese could get the rest off her chest alone.
Jenna and Jordan
In their Fantasy Suite, Jenna and Jordan told each other they love the other in an emotional conversation. This relationship has really changed Jordan from the self-centered model he was perceived as on The Bachelorette.

On the beach, Jordan told Jenna she is exactly what he wants and dropped down on a knee. The happily engaged couple strolled off the beach in pre-marital happiness. Then on After The Final Rose, the giddy couple sat down with Chris drama free and revealed they plan to get married next summer.
Just less than 24 hours after the airing of the finale, Entertainment Tonight reported that Jenna and Jordan broke up following a scandal where Jenna allegedly cheated on Jordan with another man.
Krystal and Chris
In their Fantasy Suite, both Krystal and Chris reminded each other that they didn’t want to lose each other and that they’re in this together. For a couple where both are scared of commitment, it was definitely not a funny move when Chris made Krystal think for a moment he was going to break up with her the next day. Instead, he dropped on one knee and asked Krystal to be Mrs. Goose.
After The Final Rose, Chris got emotional as he talked about his relationship with Krystal. Of everyone who sat on the stage, they were the two that looked the most in love. They revealed they’re moving in together soon and are also planning a wedding.
