Music review: Chris Brown’s new album “F.A.M.E.”

On Tuesday, Chris Brown released his new album F.A.M.E. which stands for “Fans Are My Everything”. Brown comes back after two years with the release of his previous album, Graffiti, this album feeling more techno-ish without going to an extreme, yet we still find Brown’s typical R&B jams in the album as well.

F.A.M.E is complete album I must say, regardless of the auto-tune usage in some songs, its an album that has every facet of Chris Brown, everything from the hit songs to the slow jams.  If I could define this album with one word it would most likely be “variety”. Chris has shown us at this point in his career that he’s pretty much capable of doing any kind of music and making it good. Evidence of this success, is the fact that most of the songs we’ve heard already on the radio prior to the album release, such as “Look At Me Now”, “No BS”, “Deuces” and “Yeah 3x”.

What I noticed throughout the album, is that Brown is focused in making hit songs. Either by doing a song with Justin Bieber or with Benny Benassi, he wants to come back to his fans and wants to give everyone a good product.  Regardless of what happened two years ago, one thing is clear: its in the past and we should all start to move on, what better way than with an album dedicated to your fans that have been with you the whole way?

F.A.M.E is rather enjoyable, and any Team Breezy fan out there I’m sure will like it. I liked it, and its good to see Chris Brown experimenting with new beats/sounds and taking his career to another level.
