Two Night Stand brings together Miles Teller as Alec, and Analeigh Tipton as Megan, for a rom-com where a desperate internet hook up turns into a morning-after disaster.

Megan, who doesn’t seem to have the motivation to get her life together after being dumped by her fiancé, decides she needs a little action to get things moving along. She then connects with Alec on an online dating site, and after a brief video chat heads to his place. The awkwardness ensues when, after Alec calls Megan a slut during their pillow talk, she gets offended and implies that she faked her orgasms and then storms off. Just as she leaves the apartment she finds herself snowed in and now forced to spend the day with Alec, getting more than she bargained for.

Most of the movie takes place in Alec’s apartment. We have some cuts back and forth to Megan’s roommates, which seem a bit pointless. Megan opens up about her drama, but it is her sexy little dance that makes Alec change his mind about her. Toward the middle of the movie, once Megan and Alec are more in a friend zone, they decide to assess their sexy time skills in order to improve their games for when the next person comes along. But of course, all this talk leads to hands-on testing “for science,” and then we see Teller shirtless and Tipton’s tiny butt.

There’s a plot twist which could have gone a different way, maybe a more realistic route where Megan and Alec never see each other again or they run into each other in the subway and don’t acknowledge each other. But of course they end up together after Alec desperately tries to prove that he really is into her and wants to be with her.

If you’re a Miles Teller fan he definitely doesn’t disappoint.

Two Night Stand is a presentation of Demarest films directed by Max Nichols.
