We’ve officially passed the halfway mark for 2015, and there have been some real book gems so far. However, there are still so many great books to be released this year–here’s a list (in no particular order) of the ones we’re most looking forward to!
1. Winter – Marissa Meyer: In the last book of Marissa Meyer’s beloved sci-fi fairytale series, Princess Winter, along with a host of allies including Cinder, Scarlet, and Cress, fight to overthrow Queen Levana and find their own happily-ever-afters.
2. Queen of Shadows – Sarah J. Maas: The eagerly-awaited fourth installment in Sarah J. Maas’ Throne of Glass series, in which Celaena Sardothien returns to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past.
3. Carry On – Rainbow Rowell: First introduced in Fangirl, Simon and Baz take on a life of their own in Carry On, a ghost story, a love story, a mystery, and a melodrama that takes place in their final year at the Watford School of Magicks.
4. Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo: The first book in a new series by Leigh Bardugo, but still set in the world of the Grisha, involving six dangerous outcasts and one impossible heist.
5. The Rose Society – Marie Lu: After the cliffhanger in The Young Elites, we rejoin Adeline as she searches out other Young Elites in the hopes of building her own army of allies to overthrow the Inquisition Axis who murdered her love.

6. Ice Like Fire – Sara Raasch: Three months after the Winterians were freed and Spring’s king, Angra, disappeared, Meira finds herself torn between conflicting goals and loyalties–Theron fights for magic, Mather fights for freedom—and Meira starts to wonder if she should be fighting not just for Winter, but for the world.
7. The Boy Most Likely To – Huntley Fitzpatrick: Surprises abound and sparks ignite in the highly anticipated, utterly romantic companion to My Life Next Door–featuring Alice Garrett and her little brother’s best friend, Tim.
8. Their Fractured Light – Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner: In the final installment of the Starboard trilogy, four previously-introduced characters, as well as two new faces–Gideon, a computer hacker, and Sofia, a girl out for revenge–bring the fight against LaRoux Industries to a head.

9. The Heart of Betrayal – Mary E Pearson: In this sequel to The Kiss of Deception, nothing is quite as it seems–especially with regards to Kaden and Rafe–assassin and prince respectively–and the Vendans, whom Lia always believed to be barbarians.
10. Lair of Dreams – Libba Bray: Three years after we were introduced to Evie’s world set in mystical 1920s New York comes the long-awaited sequel, Lair of Dreams, wherein the Diviners descend back into the dreamworld to catch a killer.
11. Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff: The first book in a thrilling YA sci-fi series, involving two rival megacorporations at war over a planet, a deadly plague outbreak, conspiracies, and mysterious cover-ups.

12. The Rest of Us Just Live Here – Patrick Ness: A tale about life on the sidelines and finding the extraordinary in your own life–not everyone can be a Chosen One fighting zombies or ghosts and living on in infamy.
13. Soundless – Richelle Mead: A breathtaking new fantasy steeped in Chinese folklore, beginning in a small mountain village and leading to an epic journey in search of the truth, with an unlikely romance thrown into the mix.
14. Vengeance Road – Erin Bowman: A Western-style adventure, wherein eighteen-year-old Kate Thompson disguises herself as a boy and takes to the gritty plains looking for answers and justice after her father is killed by the notorious Rose Riders for a mysterious journal that reveals the secret location of a gold mine.
15. Walk on Earth a Stranger – Rae Carson: The first in a new trilogy from Rae Carson, involving a young woman with the magical ability to sense the presence of gold who must flee her home, taking her on a sweeping and dangerous journey across Gold Rush-era America.
