Top 10 Movies the TYF Team Loved

Not every movie is an Oscar contender, and thank God for that! Not everything should be a competition. Here are the movies we loved so much and can watch again and again:

10. Alice in Wonderland – Tim Burton does it again! He creates a vivid & imaginative world of the classic animated movie. Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter is great. One of the most fun movies of the year.

9. Dinner for Schmucks – Another big surprise! We did not expect it to be SO funny!

8. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Hands down, the best movie & book of the Twilight saga. David Slade brings the Twilight story to another level, something Twilight fans can be proud of.

7. Let Me In – This remake is just as chilling and suspenseful as the original Swedish film. And Chloe Moretz’s acting got us scared. True fact.

6. Despicable Me – “IT’S SO FLUFFY IM GONNA DIE!!” If that doesn’t explain it enough for you, I’ll send my evil little minions after you.

5. Kick-Ass – Definitely not your typical superhero movie. It’s very funny! And once again, Chloe Moretz is the scene stealer as Hit Girl.

4. Due Date – Robert Downey Jr. & Zach Galifiniakis make a HILARIOUS duo. This road trip comedy will have you laughing out loud and yelling “WTF” at the same time.

3. Pirate Radio – The soundtrack of this movie is badass! And all the great British actors (and Philip Seymour Hoffman) in it are badass too!

2. Remember Me – Definitely a film we thought deserved more credit. We cried reading the script; we cried watching the movie. But besides the fact that there were lots of tears shed, it was a great little film with a ton of meaning behind it. Now go hug someone you love!

1. Easy A – “I GOT A POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE.” This movie is several truckloads full of sunshine. This comedy is witty and smart, not another dumb teenage movie.  Emma Stone is just awesome, and after this movie we love her 10x more.
