A lot of anticipation gathers during the last days of a year. There’s so much happening in 2011, it was so hard to choose what we are most excited about. Here are the top 11 things that are making us jump up and down in excitement:
11. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie – Yeah, we already know the Swedish version is on DVD. But we can’t wait for the American version to come out. David Fincher (The Social Network) is directing this one, and it will be exciting to see Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig playing Lisbeth and Blomkvist.
10. Breaking Dawn: Part 1 – Are we prepared? Not really. We don’t think anything can prepare us for what happened in Breaking Dawn. We really want to crack up watching this movie! It will be so corny and WTF. However, you know we’ll be waiting in line to see it at midnight.
9. City of Fallen Angels – Cassandra Clare is continuing the Mortal Instrument series! We’re eagerly waiting to see what adventures Clary, Jace and Simon will get into next.
8. Misfits: Season 3 – MONKEYSLUT! SAVE ME BARRY! We need to know what is going to happen next to Nathan, Simon and the gang!
7. Lasers by Lupe Fiasco – Lupe Fiasco’s album just needs to be released! It’s been pushed back so many times! He’s one of the best rappers at the moment!
6. Born This Way by Lady Gaga – Little monsters rejoice! Our little ears are silently waiting for her new song and album.

5. Water for Elephants – If you haven’t read the book or the script (both are REALLY good), then go do that. This film stars Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz and the ridiculously handsome Robert Pattinson. We know Rosie & Jacob’s relationship will be too much for our hearts!
4. The Hunger Games casting news – Dear Gary Ross, when will you start casting this movie? It’s KILLING us not knowing! Who’s going to play Haymitch? Or Peeta? Or most importantly, Katniss?! Please tell us and take us out of our misery. Sincerely, hardcore THG fans.
3. San Diego Comic Con 2011 – “epic” fail registration didn’t stop us! TYF got passes and we’re going! Are you? We’re VERY excited!!
2. New Britney Spears music – Its Britney… words can’t explain how excited we are for her new album. Her new single “Hold It Against Me” comes out January 7th!

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 – The final Harry Potter film. The end of a generation. The end of our childhood. It will be bittersweet. It will be hard to let it go, but we’ll be so thankful for everything that Harry Potter has given us. We’ll be right there next to you at midnight, donning our Hogwarts robes, wands, and lightning bolt scars.
