Attending a comic convention sans costume is like asking for a peanut butter sandwich sans the jelly. Not only is it unhealthy and rather disturbing to hear and see, it elicits thoughts of regret by the onlooker’s behalf. There’s fun that comes in dressing up, especially in costume where thousands of others are doing the same.
