Lauren Adams Talks Season Three of ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’

With such a hit series bringing so much hubbub about it, there’s nothing we shouldn’t expect from the third season. There’s been plenty of controversial moments and even more laughs, but there’s something about Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt that keeps reeling us in for more. Whether’s it’s Kimmy going to school or the return of the priest that captured her, the show keeps reinventing its premise with new and smart humor on rather heavy subject matter.

The premiere of the third season kicked off at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival where the stars and cast were in attendance to showcase their hard work for this season. The Netflix series is set to premiere on Friday, May 19th, and its trailer has already created plenty of commotion with what viewers can expect to see. What is known so far is that Kimmy goes to college and we see the return of everyone who was locked in the cellar with her.

We had the exclusive chance to speak with one of those cellar girls herself– Lauren Adams, who plays Gretchen in the show. She gave away few details about what viewers can expect, but they were useful nonetheless. Check out our interview below as well as the trailer for the season, and be sure to tune in on Friday for the latest on Kimmy’s life.
