‘Red Nose Day Actually’ Releases Trailer

The story and characters that melted our hearts back in 2003 is ready to make a (really small) come back this month!

Richard Curtis’ Love Actually is having a sequel entitled Red Nose Day Actually, a tv-short set to air during Red Nose Day (in the U.S), a world-known charity telethon that raises money and awareness to help children living in poverty around the world. Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln and more of the original cast will reprise their roles (you will be greatly missed, Alan Rickman), all for a good cause.

I will admit it: Watching the teaser released just a few weeks ago made me smile. The latest trailer is even better: it shows us where the characters have been for the past 14 years and what they are up to now. Prime Minister still dancing, eh?

Over the years I’ve enjoyed doing Red Nose Day specials of TV things I’ve worked on—Blackadder, The Vicar of Dibley and Mr. Bean. It seemed like a fun idea this year to do a special sketch based one of my films, since Red Nose Day is now in both the U.K. and America,” said Richard Curtis for the BBC.

Even though U.K fans saw it back on March at the Comic Relief special on BBC 1, next week it’s our turn!

Red Nose Day Actually will air on May 25th on NBC, hosted by Chris Hardwick and feature appearances by Ben Affleck, Patrick Dempsey, Orlando Bloom and Julia Roberts.
