SDCC 2017: Future Man Panel Roundup

Imagine a janitor who works at a Herpes Laboratory and needs to go back in time to fix an incident that happened in the past in order to make sure the world isn’t damaged in the future. Doesn’t seem real? Well, the good news is it’s not actually real. Other good news, Seth Rogen will bring this plotline to life in his upcoming Hulu series, Future Man.

This 30-minute episodic show will premiere this November and just looking at the trailer/teaser, you kind of have to wonder, how are they managing to pack that much action into one entire episode? We’re not sure, either, but it’s possible and we’re excited to see it!

The Future Man panel was moderated by Paul Scheer and consisted of Executive Producer Ariel Shaffir, Executive Producer Kyle Hunter, Derek Wilson (Wolf), Showrunner Ben Karlin, Director Seth Rogen, Eliza Coupe (Tiger), and Josh Hutcherson (Josh Futterman).

Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) will star as Josh Futterman, the janitor/world-ranked gamer who is called upon visitors from the future who convince him that he is the key to defeating the “imminent super-race invasion.” He’ll be working alongside Tiger and Wolf in what seems like a Terminator meets Back to the Future show filled with absolutely unbelievable shenanigans.

Are you excited for Future Man? The show will premiere and be available to stream on Hulu on November 14, 2017. Listen to the entire panel below!
