Everyone loves a good reality TV show; especially one about love. But even better, a reality show about royal princes, who lie about their identity in order to find their soul mate who loves them for who they are; not their title.
But you might be asking, so who are these magical men?
He is 33 years old and a direct descendent of German and Spanish royalty. Since a child, he has lived the luxurious lifestyle surrounded by servants and living in fabulous castles. He has also traveled with the icons of Michael Jackson and Sean Connery.

He is 32 years old and from the Balasinor Royal family in India. His entire life, he was restricted from leaving India without an entourage, and has lived under the restrictions of his parents, as they have already began arranging a marriage for him.

He is 29 years old from the Lord of the Manor of Fullwood in the UK. His bloodline links to King Henry WIII, and is an underwear model for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger campaigns.

He is 23 years old and lives in the UK. He attended the well-known boarding school of Oundle, and enjoys the activities of hunting, shooting and fishing, and spends some of his time at his home in London’s West End.
All of these men travel to the lively city of Atlanta, Georgia, to find the love of their life. With each of the women that they met, they told them their nickname, gave a brief description of their family, and all the men claimed that they were dog groomers who bus tables at weddings and special events.
You would think that these men wanted to find down to earth, educated, and soulful girls, and yet they all found different versions of the Blonde bombshell. I mean, you might as well have gone to Texas or California if that’s the type of girl they were looking for.
Just the same, toward the end of the series, TLC hosted a mock-ball, where each of the men invited their lucky lady as their date, as they claimed “they were waiters at the event”. However, at the ball, each of the men were introduced to the ball as their actual name; full title and all. Obviously, these women were floored and liked their partner even more knowing that they are royalty. Nervously, the princes asked their dates to join them in their foreign hometown, and experience the life they actually live; all of the ladies accepted the invitation.
Clearly, these women wanted a free vacation, and why not live in the fabulous life with royalty. What was interesting, though, was at the end of the day, these blondies saw the real side of these men; some of them loved the men even more, and some blondes preferred to part their separate ways. Honestly, kudos to the women who wanted to go their separate ways; I think it showed their true intentions, as they came to the reality that although living a life in royalty is quite the fantasy, it might not be the reality in their life. Love is more important than wealth and a title.
All in all, I feel like this whole TV series was about foreign Princes coming together, and bonding with one another. Like how often in the royalty can you just chill out and hang out with some of your buddies who just happen to be princes too?
The overall concept of the reality show sounds really awesome, but I think I was disappointed at the end of the day when I didn’t love the girls the princes chose. I felt like when they all chose the same type of girl, it defeated the entire reason for the show. Sure, I might be sounding a bit stereotypical, but read the writing on the wall. Plus, half of the relationships didn’t work out because the girls didn’t even think that the relationship could go much further.
I’m hoping that TLC will do another season of the show, using different princes, and see how much of a difference there will be. Maybe not all men like the same type of girl, or do they.
