TV review: VH1’s new reality show ‘Mob Wives’

Stay away from this show.

Last night, for some cosmic reason I found myself watching ‘Mob Wives’ to see what it was all about. Stay away young folks, it was a waste of my time. In ‘Mob Wives’ we follow the lives of four women who are either wives or daughters of famous mobsters from Staten Island, NY. I could get into the name details and etc, but its not even worth my time right now to be honest. These four women live in Staten Island (one of them actually moved back in the first episode after living in Arizona for over 10 years if not more) and we see their “fabulous” lives in a way: their husbands might be in jail, but they still have social lives, go shopping, partying etc. Some of them even think that the fact that their husbands are in jail doesn’t mean they’re bad people.. OH NO God forbid… they’re just WONDERFUL gentleman who would never harm their families. Think again please.

‘Mob Wives’ is basically your Real Housewives of Staten Island, these four women bond with each other since they all have someone they love in jail etc, but HEY there’s your typical girl drama, “don’t invite her to the party!” and your cat fights, which would only mean the slightest of appeal that people have a reason to come back: to watch the fights. And probably that might be it, because I think the show is pretty much pointless and boring, same thing over and over.

Stay away young folks, I know I am.
