The whole “Hangover 2” intro with Jason Sudeikis was funny, I have to admit I expected it to be waaay more funny but it was okay. I was dying laughing when he was saying stuff to celebrities in the audience: Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart, etc.
It is no surprise to me that Twilight won mostly everything, I mean, Twifans you can tell are very dedicated and wish to see their stars on stage as much as they can *raises hands* all good by me. What did bother me was the girl from “Grown Ups” winning Best Line…yeah it was cute and all and her acceptance speech was sweet.. BUT YOU GUYS, THE SOCIAL NETWORK HAD TWO NOMINATIONS IN THE SAME CATEGORY! Ring a bell? Aaron Sorkin best scriptwriter ever? No? Where is my TSN fandom at? LOL.
Anyways, the award show was mostly full of rather awkward moments. Starting off with Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis national TV groping session, funny yes but in my opinion a liiitle too much because hey most people who are watching the show are pre-teens!
The Most Awkward Person of the night goes to … Robert Pattinson! It seems like this time around Kristen Stewart was more calm, no pop corns were dropped this time, while Rob was just saying anything at the top of his head LOL. I mean, its no surprise to me but last night was just WAY too awkward, specially after that F-bomb during Reese Witherspoon’s Generation Award. And of course, I am never getting my Robert/Kristen real life kiss *sigh* yes I actually have hope that this will eventually happen, I mean for the next 2 years I can guarantee both of them will win yet again for Best Kiss and I’m expecting this to happen someday but of course… Robert felt Taylor Lautner deserved it more.
Jaw Dropping Moment to the newly ear-pierced Justin Bieber… umm.. now I feel like watching ‘Never Say Never’ so I can find out what was so blatantly shocking that won’t let me pick up my jaw from the floor! LOL just kidding.
Oh! There were also exclusive clips from ‘Super 8’, ‘Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2’ and of course ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1’
And that’s pretty much about it, MTV Movie Awards are yet again another Twilight fest to which I have to say: its okay, because at the end its the fans who vote, people can hate on Twilight all they want but you gotta admit Twifans are very devoted and vote 3 times more than everybody else. People usually complain “Oh wth how come did Twilight win Best Movie over Inception?” LISTEN, next time if you don’t want Twilight or any other movie for that matter win over yours then go ahead vote! I just hope that for the next awards The Hunger Games gets nominated and I will go vote daily LOL.
