Our favorite (and not-so-favorite) clones are back!!

Well, actually, we now know when they’ll be back. The highly anticipated Season 2 to the new cult favorite, Orphan Black will premiere on April 19, 2014 on both BBC America and Canada’s SPACE channel.

I’ve been waiting on something, ANYTHING, new about Orphan Black for months, ever since I binged on the first season and was completely wowed by Tatiana Maslany’s performance(s). Now, we have a bit more info to go on about Season 2 and a teaser trailer to hype us for the spring premiere. The official Season 2 synopsis is as follows:

“Season 2 hits the ground running with Sarah in a desperate race to find her missing daughter Kira. Her scorched earth tactics spark a war with pro-clone Rachel, dividing and imperiling all the clones. As Sarah discovers more about her past, mysterious newcomers appear, but can they be trusted?”

Nothing surprising. With the way the first season ended, it’s clear that the main objective for Sarah will be finding her daughter. As for the other clones, I wonder what will be up their sleeves and their involvement with the search for Kira. We only have a few more months of waiting until we find out. Until then, watch the teaser below:
