‘From Dusk till Dawn: The Series’ Trailer: destruction, gore, and death

If you’re having vampire withdrawals here’s a little something to hold you over. Making its debut on the El Rey Network on March 11th is From Dusk till Dawn: The Series. The show is based on Robert Rodriguez 1996 cult classic, starring George Clooney and Quentin Tarantino.

The Gecko brothers are back, bank robber Seth Gecko, played by Clooney in the film and now by D.J. Cotrona and his erratic brother Richie, which was played by Tarantino and is now played by Zane Holtz, are still on the run, fighting, stealing, hijacking and killing the undead.

The ten episode series picks up with the brothers trying to rob a bank which ends up in bloodshed and them on the run from Texas rangers Freddie Gonzalez played by Jesse Garcia and Earl MacGraw played by Don Johnson. The series reveals more of the brothers characters giving it’s viewers a broader understanding of Richie’s and Seth’s frenzy.

Rodriguez directed the first episode along with the second and fourth which will retrace the story told in the movie but then will venture in deeper into the mythology. In this trailer you get a taste of what to expect from the series. If you loved the movie then the series holds up to all the gunfire, bloody gore, hostages, and of course the supernatural .
