HBO has released a new trailer for the second season of Game of Thrones, a tv series adapted from the best selling books by George R. R. Martin. Fans of the show have been waiting almost a year for the second season and it looks to be as gut wrenching as the first! In the trailer we get a glimpse of Mellisandre, King Stannis, King Joffrey, Catelyn, King Robb and Tyrion as well as other key characters that will be having a big role in this next installment of the series. The second season will be based on Martin’s second book A Clash of Kings.
Here is a spoiler-free summary of the book that should give you an idea of what to expect in the next season:
