Hot off the news, that Mulan will be returning to Once Upon A Time, it has been confirmed by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, the executive producers, to Entertainment Weekly that Season 5 will feature an LGBT relationship.
We have seen glimmers of hope with Mulan’s (Jamie Chung) relationship with Aurora (Sarah Bolger), and where we last saw the twosome, Aurora was telling Mulan that she was pregnant with Prince Philip’s (Julian Morris) baby. So could this mean the fan favorite couple will have another shot at love?
When asked Kitsis said, “We know that community have been big supporters of the show and we would love to be able to tell a love story that reflects that.”
Horowitz responded with, “It’s something we want to do this year…It’s something we think is due and important to do on the show. This is the world we live in.”
Neither Horowitz nor Kitsis confirmed that the couple will be Mulan and Aurora, so it might be new characters that they are talking about, but after five seasons we think it’s about time we get some LGBT representation on Once Upon A Time.
