Clear your plans for April 9 because Outlander premieres its highly-anticipated second season on Starz that evening!
Along with the announcement, Starz releases the first full length trailer for season two as well as our first glimpse of Claire Fraser’s infamous red dress. If you’ve read “Dragonfly in Amber” by Diana Gabaldon and have an appreciation for the series’ costume design, you might be staring at the image above for quite a while. (Don’t ask me how long I’ve looked.)
The second season presents a number of problems for Jamie and Claire Fraser as they head to Paris, France in hopes of changing the future. Watch that and more in the new trailer:
Pretty exciting! As a fan, I can’t wait to dive into this new world with one of my favorite fictional couples. Also, in case you missed it, a new actress has joined the cast. Book fans know who Brianna is, and I can’t wait to see how they interweave her story within the main narrative. Meet Brianna, who will be played by Sophie Skelton.
