‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ to Return for a Ninth Season on HBO

Larry David

It’s pretty, pretty, pretty, awesome that Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm is coming back for a ninth season. HBO’s president of programming, Casey Bloys, made the announcement that the comedy will be making a return after a five year hiatus.

“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of CURB and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said Bloys.

When ask why he wanted to come back, David said, ““In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’”

Recently, the Seinfeld creator has become a highlight of this presidential election with his uncanny impression of Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live (he was even featured on a skit called Bern Your Enthusiasm). With the election wrapping up in five months, it will be great to see him back on HBO.

No release date has been confirmed for the new season.
