Since the news broke out that Gilmore Girls was going to be revived on Netflix, titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, fans grew with excitement. With much anticipation, fans will not have to wait much longer because Netflix just announced the release date. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is set to air November 25th. So mark your calendars because our favorite Gilmores are coming back! The revival will be broken up into four 90 minute installments that will take the course of a year. The first installment will be set in winter with spring, summer and fall preceding after.
But if you can’t wait, Netflix released a trailer that welcomes you back to Stars Hollow. The trailer breaths an air of pure nostalgia. We catch a glimpse of key areas of Stars Hollow then immediately cuts to a conversation between Rory and Lorelai. Though the jokes are modern, the writing and style of the dialogue is still the same from Gilmore Girls episodes past. There is nothing like playful banter in the kitchen to make us miss our girls.
