To make the insatiable Vampire Diaries fans a little happier, despite the 100 year wait (October seems that far away right?) for the fourth season to start, two new characters have been revealed! Thanks to Alloy Entertainment, we’ve got glimpses of the newbies:
April: A teenage actress is being sought to take on this pretty big role. April is not only a Mystic Falls native and private school student who moves back into town after a family death — but apparently she used to be close friends with Jeremy Gilbert and has a lot of fond childhood memories of him and her hanging out. Plus, she has a very Johanna Mason quality about her in that she acts less intelligent than she actually is! Hmm.
Connor: Know anyone who you can describe as a thirty-something “scary hot” Navy SEAL type? Because he’d be a shoo-in for new town stud Connor then! Described as a “highly trained killing machine” we’re highly suspicious that this evil hottie is the new villain that the CW teased us with in the official Season 4 press release.

I can’t even imagine anyone more powerful than the Original Hybrid, Klaus. So what can this “evil hottie,” Connor, have in store for us?! Is he a witch? A vampire? A werewolf or a hybrid? Maybe he’s a whole new supernatural creature! Oh October, why must you be so far away?
