Stranger Things Season 2: Watch the Super Bowl Trailer

HALLOWEEN?! That’s the sound of many Stranger Things fans yelling at the longer than expected wait for season 2 of the hit Netflix series.

Get ready to go back to the Upside Down in the Stranger Things season 2 teaser, which premiered during Super Bowl LI. The teaser gives us our first look at footage of the upcoming season. Starting with a classic 80’s Eggo commercial, it’s not surprising that the Super Bowl commercial only hints at what’s to come, not being too forthcoming with the questions fans had since the conclusion of its first season.

If you remember the first season finale, Will Byers still has a connection to the Upside Down, so even though they killed the monster, it doesn’t mean Will and the gang are completely free from danger. Also, the fate of Eleven was at first up in the air, but the fact that Millie Bobby Brown is returning for season two proves that we will be seeing the fan favorite again. Unfortunately though, we have another eight months to wait until we get to return to Hawkins, Indiana. Read the official synopsis below.

A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.

Stranger Things season two will premiere on October 31, 2017, only on Netflix.
