While there were many TV shows returning with new seasons, here at TheYoungFolks.com we decided to pick five best NEW TV shows released this year that have us already glued to our TV screen and we can’t wait to watch more episodes of them. Here are the top 5 new TV Shows released in 2k11:

Honorable Mentions: Whitney / Allen Gregory

5. Tie: I Hate My Teenage Daughter / Free Agents

I Hate My Teenage Daughter” was basically this years slap in the face to “The Secret Life of The American Teenager”, showing a more funny side to the mother-daughter relationship in today’s America. Here you get a glimpse of mothers trying their best to prevent their daughters to become the girls that tormented them in high school and we greatly enjoyed watching this sitcom!
Free Agents” is the American remake of the British sitcom of the same name, and even though only four episodes aired and it was cancelled shortly afterwards, it was one of those shows we wished that would have lasted a little longer.

Although, there are many Snow White movies coming up next year, this show is intriguing enough for us to keep watching to find out what the Evil Queen’s next move will be.
American Horror Story” could easily be called one of this years biggest sensation in television, finally a horror drama show scary enough to keep us coming back for more. Now that the next season was announced we cannot wait for AHS in 2012 and be scared yet again!
