Yes, we really love The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo here at TYF. And you probably already know that we’re insane David Fincher fans. Hence, we freaked out when a TV Spot for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo debuted last night during The X-Factor. Then, we freaked out some more this morning when a new 4 minute extended trailer was released online.
If you haven’t been keeping up TGWTDT’s new marketing methods, check out our post on its “secret” production blog here and our report/description of a surprise 8 minute clip that showed at Straw Dog screenings last week.
For those who aren’t familiar with the TGWTDT’s story, the new trailer will enlighten you. It’s 4 minutes long, but doesn’t give the whole movie away, which is part of why it’s amazing. We get to hear some more of Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross’ score, and wow, it totally compliments the film’s mood and tone so well. (Fincher + Reznor = Forever.)
