If you’re into bands like The 1975, this one is for you. Indie pop artist The Japanese House AKA Amber Bain announced her forthcoming album Good At Falling, out March 1, 2019 via Dirty Hit/Interscope Records. The album was produced by Amber, BJ Burton, and The 1975’s very own George Daniel. We had a small introduction to her new project with “Lilo” and now “Follow My Girl” which she released this past Monday.
In an interview with DIY, The Japanese House seems ready to finally let go of her hard work for everyone to hear:
I’m glad I waited this long because I don’t think I’d have been able to make the same album two years ago. I think it’s important to not rush things and find exactly what kind of music you want to make.
In even better news, The Japanese House is heading out on a North American tour this December hitting up cities such as Los Angeles, Boston, and wrapping up in Brooklyn. Fingers crossed she’ll be performing some unreleased songs leading up to the album release.
