Here at TheYoungFolks.com we love film, music, books, TV shows and videogames a great deal. Our team as of now, is just me (Lucyinthesky) , the other “fairy TYF Godmother” GabrielleAdelle and the always awesome NickF16.

In order for us to keep you guys always updated, we’re going to need some help!

We’re looking for more STAFF MEMBERS!

Are you an aspiring writer/journalist? Do you want to have your work published? Do you want to interact with our readers and be part of our podcast? Do you love music, film, books, TV shows and videogames as much as we do and want to share your opinion with the world? If you’re a freelance writer….

THEN THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY!

Just so everyone knows: we do NOT get paid for what we do yet, so we can’t provide you with a paycheck or any type of money. We know times are rough, believe me we do. We’re looking for individuals who love pop culture as much as we do that want to have their work published and be part of the TheYoungFolks team. We give you the freedom to write and give your opinion on your topic, of course massive profanity would BE an issue (the usual F-bomb is not a problem but dropping 20 F-bombs will not get your point across, so try to keep it all PG-13) but besides that you’re pretty much on your own reviewing or reporting in an article.

Positions available:

— News Reporter at TYF —

This new addition to TheYoungFolks, the News Reporter staff member will help us update the site exclusive and newsworthy articles about the latest happenings in film, music, books, TV shows, videogames. This person can also provide TYF with reviews that have not been done yet, as well as being an occasional guest on the TYF podcast.
Minimum: 2 posts per week, maximum: as many as you would like.

— Design & Promotions —

We try, no really, we try really hard to make the site look better and create new logos, new layouts, and finding new ways to attract new readers to come onto the site. We’re looking for a skilled individual in all of that cool stuff: Photoshop, InDesign, etc that knows also coding and how to use WordPress, that perhaps can help us with all of the aesthetics of the site. The Design & Promotions staff member can help get the word out: designing flyers, shirts, you name it, helping promote TheYoungFolks in every Social Media outlet and if they want to paper up their hometown, that’s fine too! This person can also provide TYF with reviews that have not been done yet, as well as being an ocassional guest on the TYF podcast.
